Storm and Sanitary Standalone - Culvert pipe

What is the proper way to model a culvert pipe within SSA?

I have attemped using SSA to model culvert pipes using (Sub-Area to Junction to Outfall), using 0 elevation for the information within the Junction.   This did give me results, but when I compaired the results to Hydraflow Extension, the results were enough to make me question.

When I started filling in rim or surcharge information in the junction, it didn't give accurate results.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.  Thank you.

There is a culvert pipe sample included in SSA.
