File Won't Open

We have five files created with either Storm Net or SSA 2011.  The files were last worked on last year.

We are unable to open any of the five files, although we are able to open other projects created with older versions.

The location of the projects has changed, but that is the only thing.  I have attached one of the projects to see if anyone can open them.

Civil 3d 2012 64 bit

Windows 7 64 bit

Thanks,

That's odd, but the file opens without issue (it's just missing the undlay)

Matt,

No the program crashes while opening.

I can open the file using StormNet 4.4.08896 and it did give me a warning about the underlay, but it does open and reports the following error:

Error Report for File pre

Unrecognized keyword (LINK_OFFSETS) at line 31:

[OPTION]

LINK_OFFSETS          DEPTH

Unrecognized keyword (MIN_SLOPE) at line 32:

[OPTION]

MIN_SLOPE             0

I then saved as another file name and tried to open with SSA.  This time I was able to get SSA to at least generate a Bug Report (attached as it couldn't be sent)  It may have something to do with the errors reported by StormNET.

Thanks,

Conan Witzel

I can not reproduce.  The file opens in both 2011 and 2012 on Win7 64, and the analysis runs without issue.  The file does NOT appear to be corrupt.

Let's rule this out prior to reinstallation.  Locate the SSA.ini file in the ProgramData directory and delete it. C:\ProgramData\Autodesk\SSA 2012.

Relaunch SSA and open the file.

Matt,

It appears it has something to do with the location.  The original location has a path of just over 100 characters

I moved it to my desktop and it opened fine.

Thanks,
