Hi Jon,

Without knowing what Chris mentioned I can tell you that you may use Notepad to edit XML files. My preferred tool for editing is called XML Notepad which you can download from here. http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/en/details.aspx?familyid=72d6aa49-787d-4118-ba5f-4f30fe913628&dis...

I am sure there are other tools as well. If you're referring to LandXML reporting tools you may find it:

C:\Program Files (x86)\Autodesk\LandXML Reporting 8. Just run EXE file. This tool may give you some editing options such as precision, units, etc.

Sorry if I confused you.

He's refering to this magnificent post Smiley Wink http://blog.civil3dreminders.com/2008/11/pipe-rules-making-pipe-byslope.html and that's my prefered XML editor as well. In a pinch I'll use Notepad.

jrasd you may want to consider using .NET in 2010 for some speed improvements, although the rule in question wouldn't take up much time.
