wrong pipe profile slopes

We can't get the signs on the slope (+ and -) to show up right. They are switched. Tried going end to start, but that didn't fix the problem. If you look at the attached screen shot, in the pipe properties dialog, it says start to end, our start invert is above the end invert, and the pipe slope (hold start) is -5.19%. So it knows it's negative slope, but then shows it with the + (look at the selected pipe behind the dialog). Anybody able to offer any help on this?

It looks as though the pipe was drawn in the opposite direction as the
alignment station. Try the following command to see if you can change the
direction of the pipe network.

Pipes > Change Flow Direction

I had added flow direction arrows before to my pipe labels, and they were showing up correctly. I tried it to see if it would change the signs (+/-) though, and that didn't even change them.

Look at changing the label style to see if it helps. See attached picture.

Yeah, we tried that. They work (do what they are suppose to) but the pipe we want to be positive is still negative and vice versa.

This is the first time this has happened to us. We haev plenty of other networks and pipes that are fine. But it just so happens that our first one not working is this one and it's 6600 feet of water line. So just redoing the pipe is the very last option!

I just had an idea. What about creating an expression to take the pipe
slope and multiply it by -1?

You know what, we just figure out expressions yesterday and we're trying to use them for something else and couldn't get them to work. BUT, it worked for this!!

Saved from having to redo 6600 feet of pipe! Thanks Matt!
