does anyone know how to tie an alignment to the "outer blvd" width point on the urban sidewalk subassembly? When I do it, it works in some areas and not in others. It gives me the error message "value on wrong side of alignment or profile" when it doesn't work, and it doesn't recognize the whole sidewalk.

I have no idea how to fix your problem, but I have seen that error message and wondered what was going on.

I have used it a number of times without a problem. I'm thinking that you
are inadvertently using the wrong side of the assembly when selecting the
targets.

Also, what version & sevice pack are you using?

well its funny, because I have the same side specified for the entire alignment, but the problem only occurs in some areas. one station could be fine and then the next doesn't have a sidewalk. so who knows...the drawing is coming. thanks for taking a look.
