topo point scaling in XREFs

Is there a way to set the scaling on points in a topo drawing such that whatever scale the topo (XREF) is brought in to another dwg the text for the points is at an appropriate scale? That is, not too big, not too small, instead juuust right.

We're using Civil 3D (2008)

Thank you!

Let me rephrase that. The XREF is obviously brought in at 1:1 ; but there are several viewports (at several scaling factors) in the top drawing and I'd like the points (and associated text) in those viewports to be at the same scale. - Is there an easy way to do this without creating multiple point tags on different layers in the source topo file that would be frozen and thawed in the upstream viewports?

Thank you!

If the points are the only objects that you are trying to scale in the drawing in which you xref the topo, the easier way to do it is to import the points from survey in that dwg and set the point style and labels to be displayed at scale.

The points should automatically resize in "upstream viewports". You may need to do a REGENALL in order to see it, though.

However, the points will NOT resize in modelspace in your "upstream" drawings. Only in paperspace viewports, and only after you REGEN.

Oh, and you may also need to have your Point Style set to "Use Drawing Scale" for the Size of your marker.
