symbol library

is there a symbol library that comes with Civil 3d 2013? I am looking for handicap and planting symbols for example. I know in LDD there was a library that I could go to to insert various symbols like shrubs, variuos deciduous trees, property info like benchmark symbol etc....thanks

How do you get the symbols from the file location into the program?

Use the design center and drag and drop the desired symbols into your drawing or create a tool palette.

Can you tell us old timers how to do that?

The dummy's book references it but doesn't say how to access it.

The help function doesn't believe it exists.

Select Pallets pulldown under the Tool Space on the Home Tab and its the second icon from the left on the top row. Works just like explorer
