Hi,
I am using a LINKOFFSETANDELEVATION subassebly
but I'm having a problem getting the right result
as it links to whatever side it finds the target object nearest
(the target is a polyline that goes around the alignment)
Is there a way to force the link's direction strictly to a specific side, even if the distance to the target is smaller at the opposite side?
thank you
Can you break the target polyline into 2 parts so you'd have a TargetLeft and a TargetRight?

Does this image resemble what you need (where the white line is the alignment and the green line is the target)?

not exactly,
it's the top of a landfill (green = alignment) linking to the toe feature line (yellow)
what you see is what I finally managed ending up with a lane subassembly instead
where you have the option of choosing a side.
there are other ways (not grading though, or it's me not getting along with so good)
but I really need to show these slope patterns, so I had to use a corridor
thnak you for your time
