station offset gap to point

I want to label a station offset point on an alignment but the program
puts a gap between the point and the start of the leader. I have set
the point style to a dot since I don't need anything to show up but I
need the drag leader to go to the specific point.

How do I make the gap 0.

Thanks

Once you set the Point Group Style to a dot, if you reset the label and THEN
drag away the label, does the arrowhead go to the correct point? That's what
I'm getting here. I did have to reset the label back to undragged, then drag
it to get the correct appearance.

YEP That works. It seemed that I didn't reset the point.

Another question. I am using the station offset command to label the pt
and pc of the curb returns and in LDD I had a utility that would
calculate the station and the PT or PC and place the text with a leader
that would underline the text so we could move it and the text would
always be underlined and perpendicular to the alignment. with C3D I can
make the text perpendicular but not get a line that underlines the
entire text like the leader would. Any suggestions.

TIA

Add a line to your label, attached to the bottom left corner of the text,
and ending at the bottom right.

Thanks for that help.

Now another one. I drag the label away from the line and I had the
label insert at 90 to the alignment but when I drag it away it reverts
to my view but I want it to stay 90 to the view. I change it to as
composed from stacked text and that sets it back but my leader goes to
the text attachment point. I can set the attachment point to the left
or right bottom but that works great if all of my labels are on the same
side. Is there a way to make the dragged state stay as composed but the
leader attach to the bottom left or right based on right or left of
the alignment. See attached png.

Thanks
