saving points after translate survey database

Hi,

I was wondering after using the translate survey database command how do I save those points so I can bring them into another drawing with the new coordinates. We initially download fieldbooks using the import events command, and almost always translate the database by either moving, rotating or adjusting elevations. I have not been able to figure out how to save those new points somewhere? thank you

If you are using the translate survey database command, that's it, it's already saved. You've moved the database and importing those points in another drawing from said database will import the translated points.

Just a warning. If you translate the points decide you did something wrong and hit undo, the points are still translated in the database. So when you attempt a second translate you really mess things up. This was my story three weeks ago.
