roadside v-dItches

I want a basic v-ditch with 3:1 side slopes and with a 2.5' depth from the eop. What is the best way to do that? RIght now I'm using the basic-side-slope-cut-ditch, the cut condition does what I want it to do, but the fill condition doesn't. It just fills to the surface at 3:1 no matter what the depth of the slope is.

Thanks

Use a combination of Generic Links to accomplish your ditch instead of the
side slope cut ditch. The last link would be either a daylight subassembly
or a generic LinkSlopeToSurface, depending on which works for you.

I usually use the DaylightGeneral subassembly.

By setting the cut1, cut2 etc parameters, you can create a ditch, and by setting the cut test link you can adjust where it will determine if it is cut or fill.

This way, you will have a ditch until the bottom of your ditch is above your daylight. Or if you want a ditch even in that case, set up your fill1, fill2 etc to create a ditch as well.
