When my ACAD cursor is hovered over something information pops up in model space. It gives info like color, surface elevation, etc... How do I get rid of this? It is very annoying.

Try setting ROLLOVERTIPS to 0.

Yeah. I have a macor on a Toolpalette to toggle it on/off as I need it.

its actually still giving me the elevation though. but it is a lot better than it was.

thanks for all the replies this is helping a lot. maybe i can customize it to my liking. how about turning off the option when your hovered on a point or endpoint on a line to either "stretch, lengthen, add point, etc..." can this be toggled\turned off?

Look up the help for the Syste Variable GRIPMULTIFUNCTIONAL
