profile band styles settings

does anyone know where (or if) I can change the grayed out settings. I
want to change the color and linetype to ByLayer. Thanks.

Hi CJ,

The color component isn't set in the display portion of the band setting but rather the label component. See the screen grab for more info.

its a bug or an oversight. Nick and I messed with it a few months ago and
came to the conclusion you just have to override the color at the label
composer level. Stinky.
