printing & network latency

I have an issue where we print a set of drawings from SSM and a couple of the drawings (not the complete set) had detail callouts with hashtags where the field didn't update.

This is with the FIELDEVAL setting for these drawings at 31.

You can open that drawing and print it and the callouts populate fine.

I had another user in the same office try and print the drawings 2 weeks later and the callouts populated.

I tried right after that (I am in a different office 45 miles away) and the callouts didn't poplulate.

I"m thinking this has got to be some type of network latency issue because it's very sporadic.

Anyone else ever run across this issue?

Well, with a good timer in your hand, print the same subset, first on the network printer, then on a local one via USB.

Doing so, you could begin to understand who's the guilty: we wait for the timer results, sir.
