I have a few point groups defined, one of them is called "no show" where visibility for both marker and pt. # is turned off, so if I want to hide a point group, I just move that point group down the list below "no show". I defined a few new pt. styles and when I do it now it just turns off the label visibility, the marker still shows up. I tried to change the marker visibility to off in that particular pt. group I want to hide, it didn't help either.
Sure, but it was just my stupidity. I didn't notice I had the default point group All Points above the No Show pt. group in the list so those markers I couldn't get rid of were caused by the point style in All Points group. I hope it makes sense.
