plot,viewport,annotation,custom and standard scales

your kind assistance is needed. please wats the difference between viewport scale, standard scale, annotation scale and plot scale. am confused becos my drawings and labels are displaying out of desired proportion in paper space. thanks for the audience.

I am certainly not the best to answer this question since I am guessing that you are using metric.

 

1.The drawing scale is set from  Toolspace -> Settings -> Rt. Click Drawing Name -> Edit Drawing Settings

2. The viewport scale can be changed while in Paper Space, Rt click the Viewport and set your viewport scale.

 

It is normally a good idea if you want your Civil 3D objects to appear the same in both moded and paper spaces is to make these the same.

 

Also note that there are "Vanilla" Autocad items such as annotative text that is controlled by annotation scale.

 

This gets rather confusing at first.  The viewport scale controls the Civil 3D objects "text".

 

Not a complete answer, but perhaps a little help.
