pipe label - profile view - dragged state - leader

Is there any way to control the anchor point for the leader arrowhead in the
dragged state leader for a pipe label in a profile view. In dragged state
the leader snaps to the centerline of the pipe only. We should be able to
point this to additional components such as the inside or outside diameter
of the pipe as it is displayed.

thanks

I raised this concern as well, and was told I could only 'flip' the label. My workaround for this was a custom label with the leader anchord to the object it describes. Good luck! Oh, I used to work for DEA in Portland back in the day 🙂

I ran into this also. I wanted to label the flow line elevation of a pipe drop into a structure. I wound up just adding a leader note manually to call it out. There should be a way to label the end points, or any point on a pipe profile, independently and still be a "smart" object.

If I am missing something, I am listening and willing to learn.

May have to have a style per manhole diameter. Haven't gotten around to creating a routine to automatically place the labels on the manhole type.

While it appears that the above solution works, I'm sorry, but I am not going through that for each structure in a site with a couple dozen. Till they address this in the styles, I will just use my manual labels when needed.

I just figured out how to have the structure labels at 90 deg like they used to be in LDD/Civil. I was trying to figure out how to them at 90 deg in a dragged state as well.

As composed as the dragged state instead of stacked?

The original is stacked, just turned 90 deg. I just wanted the text to slide over or up or down without flipping horizontal. The normal has the option for text at 90, but the dragged doesn't.
