labelling a parcel segment "automatically" at the midpoint of a line using single a single segment label would really be nice but i don't think it's available now in civil3d 2006.
what i usually do is to drag the grip label into the midpoint using osnaps...
the multiple segment label however automatically positions labels at the midpoint..
