offseting alignmnets NO CURVES

When I OFFSET an alignment, the curve between the spirals becomes a straight line....whats up with that? it used to work fine. Any ideas?

Thanks

I have not seen it working in R2006-7, it only seems to be the case where you have transitions between straights and curves.

Fix is simply to offset 1m to the side then 1m back and trace the curve, break between and join together.

I thought about doing that, but i have quite a few curves and little time. All i want to do is, offset my alignments 30m to layout my ROW. I don't want to down load the "passing lane program" because offsets used to work fine.

I think it has something to do with the service pack 3.
