moving expressions to dwt

I am having trouble transfering label style that contain expressions. Can expressions not be transfered? I get gobbldygook in the expression when dragged over.

It has been some time since I used expressions but I brought up a couple of files.  After you drag the expressions over, you will need to drag the style that uses them.

I sticking to this until proven otherwise.

Hi Joe,

Have you tried the style manager (instead of drag and drop)?

Joe, that's a new comand in 2012. In 2011, there is the undocumented command, "AECCIMPORTSTYLES" as well as "AECCIMPORTSTYLESANDSETTINGS". Not as versatile as the 2012 version but it may work for you (in 2011 it's all or nothing though).

Brian is too fast 😉
2012 feature... alternative for 2011 is the one Brian  talks about.
