I have a map drawn in Arkansas state plane coordinates, and have a request to draw longitude/latitude lines on it. Can someone tell me how to do that in C3D/Map? Thanks

"ex-map3d Guru"???
Perhaps "ex-map3d user" but you are still a guru in my mind. Just because you ain't using it doesn't mean you don't know more about it than 99% of the people out there that use it.

I just can't get anyone to pay for that knowledge and experience.
IF you have this drawing in C3D AND your drawing is SETUP to your State Plane Coordinates then Civil 3D knows what the Lat-Long is.
Command:
AeccShowGeodeticCalculator command will give you a way to select points on your screen with Lat Long and your State Plane.

In a layout tab and in paper space. The scale and number of grid (precision) depends on the size of the map/area. This uses the MRGS (Military Grid System) in 2012 you can create you own to fit as neeed.
