lineweights

I have a drawing from an engineer that has lineweights confused from its layers and its lineweight settings. I’m trying to plot this drawing and the lineweights plot fine but the non lineweights objects aren’t plotting at their correct setting. Have you come across this and do you know of any good solutions?

  1. The lineweights are visible in your file because the "show lineweights" option is clicked on the status bar
  2. The lineweights on the alignment objects (yellow) and geometry points, such as PI callouts (green) are defined by the object style.
  3. If you have plot style table setup to print the objects based on color and not the object lineweight, the plotstyletable settings will take precedence.

I would do the following to begin with:
Change the alignment style objects to colors as defined by your company standards
Change the lineweights of the object styles to defaults

This would upgrade the drawing to your corporate standards.
