We have a few drawings where the lineweights between paper space and model space vary on plots.
ie a line on Layer 1 in model space plots heavier/darker than a line on Layer 1 in paper space.
Why is this happening?
I can think of two possible causes:
No overrides.
In the layer properties, everything matches between paper and vp settings. Unless there is another setting somewhere I have not noticed? (please let the answer be this simple)
This has happened in the past on acad and ldd programs so its not limited to C3d. Not all drawings do this, but some. Makes me think it is a drawing setting somewhere.
HI Isimms,
What happens if you change plot scale. Does the lineweight changes? If it does, then check your Plot dialog and the "scale lieweight" toggle setting.
Sorry, no answer for you.
It may be a plotter setting issue. (?)
Lately I have been plotting to pdf, not a plt file or direct plot. Have not had it happen since.
You can try this, but it didn't help for me. (at the time it was c3d 2008, maybe in later versions this is the answer)
I would be very interested in finding the answer even though I have not had that happen recently.
