label LATITUDE AND LONGITUDE AS DECIMAL DEGREES

How might one go about labeling a point with latitude and longitude as decimal degrees instead of degrees minutes and seconds?

Settings tab of Toolspace -> Point -> Label Styles -> Label Style
Composer -> Layout Tab -> Text contents of Lat or Long -> Format -> [select
decimal here].

Just realized I should have posted in the Land Desktop Group. But shouldnt it still be fairly the same procedure?

Hi,

The Land Desktop method of defining labels is entirely different.

However, reporting Latitude and Longitude with decimal degrees would be
most unusual and I strongly suspect it would create confusion in the
users of the data.

I have to disagree here Laurie, in a civil design yes, but each day more and
more users of data are not using it in a civil design. Take the hobby
geocaching or the use of the sporting gps units for hunting/fishing etc.
Just about all of those user use DD over DMS. I get asked a lot by those
folks to convert the DMS points to DD.
