k value "???"

This just started happening. k values most of the time show up as
"???". Take a look at the attached pics. Both are from the same
drawing and alignment, just at different times. Audit and reopen
doesn't help.

My observation in C3D is that, if you get "???" -> then that value is not available.
Please make sure that the curve has K value or you have set K value for that curve.

I figured it out. Somehow my Curve Settings had been set to insert
circular curves instead of parabolic.

From the two drawings you posted, it appears that crest curves aren't
showing the K value, while sag curves are. Is there a difference in
your label styles for sag and crest curves?

A previous release, Civil 3D 2005 (without any service pack), had a
defect related to this. Can I assume that you are using Civil 3D 2006, SP2?
