how to transfer feature settings between .dwg files

You can drag the style settings from one file to another but how do you transfer say...the pipe network feature settings from one .dwg to another?

2012? Use the styles management tools found in the Manage ribbon tab.

2011? Install the Subscription Advantage Pack and use AECIMPORTSTYLESANDSETTINGS. It may be AECC - I can't remember exactly. If I recall correctly, this was less than perfect.

yes 2012...in the manage tab I don't see a styles management tool

Try typing import styles in the application menu. This should tell you where it is in the ribbon or you can just run the tool from there.

how about importstylesandsettings?
