Tailleur:
Is this a finished ground profile or existing ground profile? Or a better
questions would be is this a profile generated from a surface?
I would expect a surface generated profile to have several closely spaced
tangents based on the surface. If this is the case and all you want to do
is get rid of the labels, right click on the profile, choose Edit Labels...,
and remove the labels by clicking the Red X.
Also, if the profile is showing X's at each pvi and arrows at each tangent,
right click on the profile and choose Edit Profile Style. Go to the display
tab and toggle off visibility for arrow, pvi points, etc. Another option is
to grab the Existing Ground profile style from the Imperial By Layer
template, and use that style.

anyone have any idea how to make the profile tangents a contiguous entity?
Right now my profile tangent comes in as a multitude of 10' line segments
and thus labels each one with the same grade, so I have a bazillion tangent
labels, all the same and overlapping. Is there a weed vertices or similar
command?
