datum passing through existing grade surface

I'm having a problem with the daylight subassembly passing through the targetted existing grade surface. As you can see it starts out working properly but ends up passing through.

I'd check to make sure the boundary is being applied correctly. Maybe turn on triangles of the surface to see if they extend past the daylight line.

HI Chris,
Thanks for the info. On first glance the surface border and corridor daylight line were very close together. Once I zoomed to the station where the daylight passed through the existing ground, I did notice that the borders were separated. I edited the surface by deleting the external lines while viewing the sections simultaneously and magic to my eyes. I have been drafting and designing since 72 and this stuff is amazing. See you CAN teach an old dog new tricks!
Thanks again
