currupted download files using xnews newsreader

currupted download files using xnews newsreader

i am using xnews for my newsreader. almost 100% of files i would try to
download from autodesk discussion download currupted. if i access using
web, the files are okay. can someone at autodesk speak to this matter?

Mike, I use Thunderbird & have used Outlook Express in the past, and
both are able to download all attachments from the news server. Perhaps
you can try the xnews support first.

yes...outlook express does seem to work okay. xnews offers some different
options that I prefer, but doesn't seem to deal with attachments from
autodesk discussion groups well. it does fine with attachments from other
groups, though.

You could try:

More likely it's an issue with the news reader - you might want to
contact xnews support and point them to the server/message you are
having a problem with.
