Is it possible to create a report of existing cross section (offset and elevation of every cross section line i created. I can be done in LDDT using template point to file under cross sections>point output. is there a way like that in C3D. any help will appreciate.
i have the same problem too.is there any idea?i want to export section data as he said.offset and surface elevation for all sections for exporting to notepad or excel.why autodesk has not create section report in toolbox for that?
You can use the Export to HEC RAS tool (Output Tab) to export to a geo file to get the X, Y and Z values of the points of the sections. If you want the elevation offset values export to XML and then open the XML file in Excel. Not quite sure how to have it present in a nice way though from XML without doing some work with the XML file.
