creating solid from surfaces?

I currently have a problem and am not sure how to address it.

I have an undulating surface made up of 3dfaces.  I also have another surface below that surface and I want to make a solid between the 2 surfaces.  I can convert the faces to mesh or surface.  Is there a way in AutoCAD or any of the AutoCAD verticals to create a solid between these two undulating surfaces?

Hi Shawn,

I know that AutoCAD can create a carved surface out of a solid. Since you can create solids, you may try these links to see if it helps.
