alignment label style

I set up an ALS to layout barrels for MPT plans by
using a block offset left and right at a specific distance. it works great for
that scale since the block size & offset values are dependant on the
scale.

I can always make copies of the style for various
scales, but was wondering if someone has another approach?

Not in 2008, but in 2009 you can use an expression to adjust to the scale of the drawing. There's a blog post somewhere that explains it, I just can't find it right now. Doesn't do you much good though, since you are using 2008.

I would love to know if this would work with
profile view labels to label the horizontal & vertical vp scales so I can
have a 30 scale plan with a profile VP scaled 10 H, 2V or
similar.
