XP Service Pack 3 ok?

Has anybody here installed XP Service pack 3 without issues?

I am having strange issues and trying to figure out why. I have done a complete uninstallation (per knowledgebase) of ALL my autodesk products and reinstalled Civil 3d 2009 only.

If I open Civil 3d and go to the Settings tab on prospector and then try something as mundane as editing a general Note label style, it will hang up for about 1 minute, and then it will crap out with the "Send Error report" dialog and ask me if I want to send in the report. I'll try to look at the report and even this will not work.

Civil 3d 2009 used to work Great on my computer, and now I can't do anything for fear of it locking up. The only major upgrade or change to my computer in the recent weeks was the XP service pack. (I also updated to Firefox 3.0 but that wouldn't have anything to do with this would it?)

I have .Net version 3.0 with Service Pack 1 applied.

Do you have C3D 2009 Update 1 installed? Nothing specific related to
your issue, but it contains many fixes.

Second, make sure that your graphics card is certified and that your
system has certified drivers installed.

Just for everyone to know.

I updated my Video Driver (the new one is only one month newer than my previously installed driver) and things seem to be working now.

Thanks for the responses and helpful tip.
