Where are Map 3D built-in workflow files?

I am running Civil 3D and trying to learn Map 3D.  The user manual talks about workflows and built in files:

If you do not see the built-in workflows in the drop-down list of workflows, click Open Workflow From File in that list and navigate to the Program Files\Autodesk\AutoCAD Map 3D 2012\Sample\Workflow folder. Select the .xoml file for the workflow to open.

I have tried to locate these and they are not present in my install.  Any idea where they might be located or are they only part of Map 3D?

Not realy sure about that. You might try the Map 3D group. Anyway these are the 12 files I found in my recent install of 2011.

I tried looking in my 2011 sample files and I found the workflow files there.  But when I look in the 2012 samples, there are no workflow files.  There is a HTML file Where are my sample files which displays:

Location of Sample Files

The sample files are now available online and are no longer included on the AutoCAD DVD.

You can access the sample files at the following URL:

http://www.autodesk.com/autocad-samples

Thinking that maybe they would be located on-line, I tried clicking on the link, but it takes me to an Autodesk page for 2010 and 2011.  Not much help on 2012!  Also, no workflow files.

What I've learned is that while Autodesk says that those who purchase Civil 3D get Map 3d, they aren't exactly the same. There are differences on where files are located, where menues are, and there are even Map ribbon buttons that just don't work in Civil 3D.

I know that didn't answer your question directly, but it helps to remember that Civil 3D does not contain the same Map 3D that those who purchase just Map 3D get. If you can't find a file where the Map help files say, do a Windows search on those files and see where Civil 3D placed them, if they even got installed at all.

Another "piece of the puzzle" is that the interfaces for Map3D and C3D are by 2 separate teams.  The C3D team didn't / doesn't always put things in the same place as Map (if at all)  frequently, if you can't find an icon for a command, the command line entry will still work.  Go figure.

I did a windows search for .xoml files on the C: drive and came up with nothing.  Does that mean that they were not installed?  If not, might they be available from somewhere else?
