Does anyone know of a pdf converter that supports 64 bit and helps with the huge pdfs I'm getting.
The dwg does have aerials in them.

You can adjust the resolution at which you output the images that become part of the pdf.
Properties (next to the output device name), then Custom Properties. You'll see the option for raster resolution in there.
Cutting the output resolution in half reduces the file size (or at least the part taken up by the images) by four times.
I concur with Tim. these setting give us acceptable prints and has lowered 10mb files to 5mb. if you are looking to go lower you'll probably have to scan a hard copy
Try the DWG to PDF driver. I used to use CutePDF as well, but the DWG to PDF.pc3 that comes with ACAD works much better. The PDFs will be much more compact and the properties/settings will give you more options. Also, you can use it via the plot command or the publish command.
Use plot command and select the DWG TO PDF.PC3 in printers option, it's allready comes with autocad software.
This is the best way.
