I have an office that wants view Civil 3D 2012 object in AutoCAD and Civil 2011. Is this possible with an OE or various settings?
You will have to explode the Civil 2012 objects for the 2011 users.
Hi,

I think just "viewing" of the objects should work anyway, doesn't it?
If there are problems, you could export the Civil-Objects in two ways:
a) with LandXML, so the Civil3D2011-User can import the project and get your alignments, surfaces, ... as data (not the styles)
b) with command _AECEXPORTTOAUTOCAD (and more) ==> that converts the AEC(C)-objects into plain AutoCAD-geometry

You are right mathewk. I forgot that 2011 (and propbably 2010) will allow viewing of 2012 objects as proxy entities. Thanks for the reminder.
To the OP, there is an OE for regular AutoCAD to view civil 3D objects.
