Unable to open point creation tools

While trying to troubleshoot another user's problem, I discovered that I can't open the point creation tools on my computer.  I can create the points by picking the appropriate type of point I want to create under the menu, but I can' change any of the point creation tools options.

Nothing happend when  I click on points->create points.on the menu.

Nothing happens when I click on points->create points on hte ribbon.

I can create points by clicking on points->create points miscellaneous->manual either the ribbon or the menus.

It's like the command to open the Create Points Tools is somehow disabled on my computer.  No one else is having this same problem.

It may be that the dialog box is opening somewhere off screen, or right at the edge of your screen so you can't see it properly.  I believe that there is a key sequence in Windows to force a dialog back to the current mouse location but I don't recall the details.

Anyone else?

Alt + Space opens the menu

Then hit M for Move

Practice first on a window you can see.

Hey Steve:

I think it may be this combo   Alt+Space+Enter   then use the left or right arrow keys to bring back into view.

I just tested this and it doesn't seem to work for the points creation toolbar.  It just opens the relavant menu for the whole C3D program.  But just to be clear

Alt+Space opens the menu

M for move

Use arrow keys to move

Enter to accept new location

That was the problem.  The Create Point Dialog Box was off in space somewhere.  Thank you.
