Unable to exit grading group properties box

Good Day.

I am working on a simple gravel pit and created a surface using a grade to
absolute elvation and then infilled the bottom of the pit. I go to create a
surface from this Grading Group under the site> grading groups dialog box
and selected the automatic surface creation button. Selected my style and
such and click apply. The surface genereates on the screen.

Problem is I am unable to click ok and exit the grading group properties
box. Clicking ok does not close the box. I am forced to hit cancel which
cancels the creation of the surface as well.

Any Suggestions.

My suggestion is to use the Grading tools to create the grades. For example, I am doing the same thing on a commercial project, grading sever building perimiters to an absolute elevation. However, once I have the grading objects created, I explode them and add to surface as breaklines. Then, I have a very dynamic enviroment to raise our lower building pads by leveraging the fairly reliable surface object. I am convinced you can do very complex grading with Civil 3D but currently there are some grading tools you need to avoid.

Thanks for your suggestion. That is exactly what I have moved on to doing.
