UCS Icon Accompanied by UFO

I prefer a simple black background.

I append a JPG in which appears my UCS icon plus a sort of UFO that accompanies it, a small white rectangle identified for readers' convenience with a large yellow arrow. 

This rectangle cannot be gripped, selected, scaled, listed, deleted, etc.  It remains the same size (about 3mm horizontally) no matter what scale is shown on the screen.  If I turn the UCS icon off, the white rectangle remains in view so long as the 0,0,0 point of origin remains within the viewport.  Whether or not the UCS icon is made visible, the white rectangle persists. 

I need to identify and remove this object.  It appears in all drawings.

Perhaps that is the NAVBAR.  Run navbar and turn it off.

NAVBARDISPLAY set to off will turn them all off in all viewports.
