Trimble job. to fbk.

Does anyone have a solution for converting a trimble job file to a fbk file. Every time I try and use trimble link it takes 15 to 20 min to get this task completed/

That doesn't sound normal. Could you email me the .JOB file? I'll take a
look at it and see if I can replicate the issue.

firstname DOT lastname at either domain below will get me.

As stupid as it may seem, I have seen DRAMATIC decreases in import time by checking out the survey database, BUT DON'T OPEN IT ON THE SURVEY TAB. Intuitive? Not at all. Effective? It worked for us...

15 mintue imports dropped to 1-2 minutes. Good Luck!

I am looking for something to convert .job files to .fbk files. Can you tell me where you got this? I have Trimble business center and AutoCAD C3D 2013.

 I haven’t got them to work together yet. I am trying to upgrade from Trimble geo office, which makes perfect field book files but it won’t work on my new computer.

Trimble says TGO is obsolete and that it just doesn’t work on new computers but I can't see why not.

Either would be very helpful.

There is this thing called Trimble Link, it adds a Trimble menu to AutoCAD

Used this since 2009, importing job files, expoting job files, ttm surfaces, alignments etc. Extremely useful.

The 2013 version's functionality seems tohave been restricted to crashing AutoCAD when you try and export a job or ttm file. Sadly uninstalled it. Don't you hate the ivory tower programmers.
