Trimble Link Menu not appearing.

I have installed Trimble Link for Civil3D 2010 and the menu will not appear in Civil3D anywhere.
I re-installed it 2 times, which sucessfully completes, but to no avail.
I checked cui and it's not there to add either.

Any suggestions?

Thanks
Chris

Found the .cuix file for Trimble, loaded it, and transferred it to the main.cuix file, case closed.

I'm having the same problem.

How do I do this part:
"loaded it, and transferred it to the main.cuix file, case closed"?

Thanks!

I just did this for Trimble link 2012:

  • Type CUI in the command line
  • Under Customize tab click the load partial customization button (folder with plus over it)
  • Browse to C:\Program Files\Autodesk\AutoCAD Civil 3D 2012\UserDataCache\Support (the path changes depending on what version/year you are have)  and open the TrimbleLink.cuix file.
  •  In the same tab, right click your desired workspace and click Customize Workspace
  •  Expand Ribbon>Tabs on the left side, double click Trimble Link. It should now appear under the chosen Workspace>Ribbon Tabs on the right.
  •  Click apply and OK.
