Hi,
if you know how the menu-file is named and where it is place (could not look for it, because I have not installed the Trimble-options) you could look for a file that has the same name like the menu, but the extension MNR.
To get the name of the menu you could look into the command _MENULOAD or with _CUI (and partial menues). They are normally placed in the directory (for Win7):
C:\Users\<YourUserName>\AppData\Roaming\Autodesk\C3D 2012\deu\Support
If you found the MNR-file:
- close AutoCAD/Civil3D
- rename the MNR-file to any other extions or move it to another directory (so for Civil it look like erased, but for you it's saved)
- start AutoCAD/Civil3D ==> this file will be generated when Civil loads the drawing ... and so the icons are refreshed (hopefully)
If that does not help the second chance will be:
- log in to your windows with another user-account
- start Civil3D ==> look if the icons are ok
- if so, look within this user-directory, search for these menu-files (in this user-directory),
- copy the CUIX and MNR to a temporary directory
- log out and log in with you original user-account
- copy the CUIX and MNR from the temp-folder to your user-directory
