You can use the 'revcloud' command to select a line (object)
to change to a cloud line.

I added this a my custom acad.lin file.

*TREELINE_L, Tree Line left side
A,0,-.13,[TREE,AECCLAND,s=.13],-.12
*TREELINE_R, Tree Line right side
A,0,-.13,[TREE,AECCLAND,s=.13,r=180],-.12

But I also use the revision cloud if I have to draw one myself.

I added this to my custom acad.lin file but when I attempt to retrieve it, I get the following message: "Bad definition of Treeline_L at line 170 of file E:\acad.lin". I've entered the line exactly exactly as you stated. Am I missing something?

That linetype definition references a file called aeccland.shx. Locate that file and put it in your support path.
