Is anybody having problems when using the transparent commands in Civil 3D 2015. When I enter a bearing using a command and then check it with the list command it is different. I wasnt having this problem in 2014.

Autocad UNITS command? - Is it possible that the Angle type is set to something other than "Surveyors Units"?
If this doesn't help please provide more details on the differences you're seeing between input & listing.
Hi, Jay_B, I did check my drawing units and have them set on "Survey Units". When I draw a line and type in my command say quadrent 3 at 6.5432 at 100.00 using the transparent command "Bearing Distance" and then list that line it gives me say S 05d30'30" w.at 100.00'.
Interesting, I don't have access to 2015.
Have you compared the Ambient Settings for the "Direction" Property between 2014 & 2015 versions to
see if there are any diferences in settings?
T,
Post a drawing where you have that problem. Even if you just put one line in a new drawing.

T,
"...quadrent 3 at 6.5432 at 100.00 using the transparent command 'Bearing Distance'..."
I drew same and got same in 2015.

Here is a drawing where I drew a line using the transparent command "Bearing Distance" I entered 3 for the quaderent and 0.26422 for the bearing and a 100 for the distance. When I list this line it is S0d15'51"W at 100'
T,
Curious. I labeled your line on the left and then I drew and labeled the line on the right. Seems to work OK. Dunno. I noticed your Ambient Settings are Decimal, and yet the line labels in DMS.

Type the command: AECDWGUNITSSETUP
I suspect you will see your problem. Notice that SURVEYORS is listed as the angle type. This is a NO NO
Set it to Decimal Degrees.
Bill
You also have the drawing set to INTERNATIONAL FEET. Is this what you want?
Bill,
From the Help Section:
"Surveyor's units: N or S for north or south bearings, degrees/minutes/seconds for how far east or west the angle is from direct north or south, and E or W for east or west; for example, N 45d0'0" E. The angle is always less than 90 degrees and is displayed in the degrees/minutes/seconds format. If the angle is precisely north, south, east, or west, only the single letter representing the compass point is displayed."
That is exactly the angle format that anyone working with bearings needs. I'm curious why that's a No No. Can you elaborate? I opened up T's drawing with 2015, and I was unable to duplicate the problem he's having. It might be a System Variable somewhere.
On this Forum I once read that changing any of the ACAD drawing units was a No No, and that you should only change units in the Drawing Settings. I think it was Sinc that said it.
