Transition, lane widening

I am running C3D 2011 64bit with update 2 on a win 7 64 bit machine.

I have an assembly that I created to widen a driveway for a turnout. I am able to get the lane to widen using a basic lane transition, but the shoulder and basic side slope cut ditch are remaining next to the original driveway width. I have rebuilt the assembly and the problem remains.

See attachments.

It is my understanding that any assembly with the work "basic" in it should not be used for design. I think that disclaimer is in the subassemly help file.... something to the effect...bla bla bla for demonstration purposes... yada yada.

It appears that your assembly may not be put together properly.  Make sure that the shoulder subassembly is attached to the edge of pavement point on the lane, and the daylight slope subassembly is attached to the correct point on the shoulder.  I find it helps to assign a code set that displays all points with a circle marker.  This gives you something to pick when adding subassemblies.
