TIN Surface

Hi
I've created TIN Surface from survey data points. The problem is some of the contours are crossing other contour lines.
Would anyone please suggest a way to draw my contour up probly.

I've attached a file if anyone wants to have a look and help me.

Thanks

Hi mmf22,

It looks like you have a style defined to display closed contours for a
hole with a linetype like _________|___________|__________

In addition, from the gaps in the contours, it look as though the
surface model has been edited by deletion of triangle sides.

Turn on the triangle display to see this.

Hi Laurie

Thank you very much for your help. I really appreciated it. I'll try redrawing the surface again with different style and hope it would fix it.
However, style might not be the problem as some of the closed contours are drawn with "smooth" lines.

Please have a look at the "bigger" contour area attached.

Thanks again

It looks like some of the TIN edits may be pulling to zero or some elevation also Edited by: rl_jackson on Sep 21, 2009 11:58 AM

Laurie is correct. I do not see crossing contours in the image. I see
"contour depressions" that are turned on, and holes in the surface where
a TIN line has been deleted.
