Survey points and LIDAR

What is the best way to tie survey points in with my LIDAR  to make one surface?  I checked and there isn't a benchmark in the are.

One thing you can do is look at the metadata for the LIDAR survey control to see if there are some control monuments used for the survey nearby.

I would suggest keeping your surfaces separate from one another. Surveys are generally more accurate than LIDAR data, and this might help you later on as well. Run with EG_LIDAR, EG_Surveyed, and EG_ALL. I would say create your EG_LIDAR surface and than add the points from your survey file to the surface in the definition. Hope that helps.
