Survey Figures with screening

I have a small site survey created using a database with figures, I created a sheet xrefed in both my existing conditiions and my proposed site, I change plot style of existing to a 50% screening, but the survey figure linework seems to be ignoring the plot style. There is other linework with the existing conditions file that are just polylines, same layers but plot as expected with screening.

I had a very similar issue with a pesky property iron symbol that I had to go into the styles to fix.

We have all colors etc. bylayer but an incorrect layer had been assigned in our case.

Long story short what shoud've been an easy layer manager toggle was anything but.

See what's happening in Figure Prefix DB for that code? In source dwg.

Everything looks as it should. Forgot to mention that this project is being done in 2013.

Couple more thoughts.

If you go to source dwg & select problem Survey Figure_Rt click_Figure Properties_Object Style_Edit Style_Plan view direction _display tab_Component type_Figure Lines. (Properties set here will trump the Fig Prefix DB & Layer Manager properties.)

Select same figure & regular "properties" Pallete. Everything check here?

Yeah everything is set to Bylayer and everything looks fine in the Properties.

I've confirmed this issue and have shown test results showing that this is a 2013 bug, and it has been fixed in 2014.  I didn't encounter it in 2012 either.
