Surface with corridors

Hi all,

I need advice.  I have two parallel streets 200 feet long with a future park (green space) in the middle.  I have a corridor surface for both streets.  I now need to add proposed grading to the park.  My current assembly for the roads have daylighting at 3:1 on both side.  I can remove that on the sides that are next to the park.  I need to create a proposed surface for the park and use the corridor surface from the streets.  How do I use the corridor surface from the streets and also the park keeping the corridor surface linked to the vertical street profile?

I'm sure its easy, just never did that.  That's were all you guys come into play.

Thanks in advance.

This is how I would start

1. create a new surface and paste the 2 corridor surfaces into it

2. create a boundary for the new surface

3. create feature lines representing the edge of pavement for your parking lot.

4. assign elevations to the featurelines based on the new surface you have created. (deselect "insert intermediate grade break points")

5. add the new parking lot feature lines to the new surface

I tend to give a very broad run down when explaining things so if you need more info just ask.

Good luck.
