Surface Import

Can someone clue me in on the best way to import a surface? I thought I was
doing it right by checking it in from the project, but what I get is the
whole surface separated and in layer 0. I just want the surface to be there
in the style I left it, in the drawing where it was created.

Thanks, Tim

are you sure you want to 'import' the surface? maybe a data shortcut will get you what you need instead?

the way we have been doing things is to use the data shortcuts to get the surface information shared between drawings, then xref the surface linework to show the contours and labels or tin.

just a thought.
